I have not been outside of my home for at least two weeks. Going to stay with mom, driving there tomorrow. I really want to stop at grocery for a few things. I never shop if it is crowded, wear mask, etc.

Is it safe to shop and then go to mom's home? I had thought about delivery or pickup but have had mixed results. I have enough gas to get there; was planning on stopping for gas on my way back to my home.

I see you are already on your trip as it is May 30th. I was going to suggest not to shop for groceries before visiting your Mom. If these are things that Mom needs, to purchase them a couple days ahead time.

I know what you mean by mixed results with curb side pickup, and with grocery home delivery. This virus has caused a shortage on so many things. I get my order and sure enough no toilet paper, no paper towels, no pizzas, out of stock bread, etc. One feels like they won the lottery if only 10 items are not available but the other 20 items are there !!

It is safe.
Wear a mask in the store.
Bring hand sanitizer with you in the car and use it when you get back in the car after shopping.
Enjoy your visit.

Yes it’s safe. Just wear a mask and wash your hands. I like to keep sanitizer in my purse so I can sanitize my hands and wipe down my phone and purse after I’ve loaded the groceries in the car. You’ve been isolated for 2 weeks so you’re good to go.
