My spouse has Alzheimer's on both sides of his family (Mom & Dad). At the age of 63, these sudden outburst.

Has your spouse been checked for an Urinary tract infection [UTI] as such an infection in someone who is older can mimic dementia.

Did one of his parents have early-onset Alzheimer's? The early onset variety is the type that is known to be inherited through genes. Later onset dementia is not known to be inherited, though I wouldn't be surprised if scientists uncover family tendencies.
