In dementia there is always a lot of angst around incontinence, around the bowels and bladder due to our earliest memories of shame and hard work is our early toilet training. Has a odd way of sticking with us when every other memory is gone! If your mom is having anxiety issues the doctor is the place to go for help and individual diagnosis and help.

What is your question? Anxiety goes hand in hand with dementia. Call moms doctor for calming medication if things don't improve.
