MelGudg, the only way to get paid is for your parents to pay you from their savings. Otherwise, you can check with your State Medicaid (which is different from Medicare) office to see if your parents qualify. Please note you would probably only get minimum hourly wage, for a limited number of hours each week.

If you are currently working for a company, do not quit. You would lose not only income but benefits if your employer offers them, such a health insurance, matching 401(k), stock options, paid vacation days, paid sick days, and any other perks.

Medicaid may help but your parents have to be poor. No assets other than the house they live in. Call your County Social Service office. The other way would be they pay you.
