Like Hello, this would be my breaking point.

I woudl worry about everything else that is being touched by the person toileting and although I am not a clean freak by far, I would freak out at the thought of poopy hands touching other places in my home.

I spray with a disinfectant product and wipe toilet with paper towel. My husband doesn't leave poop on floor, but obviously leaves shoe prints on urine that lands on the floor, which I spray, put a line of paper towels over and do a shuffle dance across, pulling the towels into a "crumple", picking them up with my thumb and forefinger, saying, "I love you," and disposing of them into a waste basket bag - pretty often, but a quick and easy solution for me.

Towards the end, my FIL was going everywhere. He even tried using the kitchen garbage pail. The bathroom was the worst as he missed the toilet many times so we bought a box of 500 non slip thin paper mats -- the kind used at spas. We put them down as a toilet mat. Used paper towels to wipe the toilet, dropped it onto the mat, wrapped it all up, and tossed. They come in all sizes and shapes and some are even designed as toilet mats. We just bought the cheapest ones that were ADA and non-slip compliant as he was using several a day. It cost about .30 cents a cleanup and was worth every cent.

Wish I had these when caring for my Dad. It would have saved me a lot of cleaning up and laundry.

Time to be there. Hopefully, using Depends. The sides can be ripped. I had to start cleaning Mom up when it got to this point. I used Huggies. Bigger and thicker than adult lady wipes.
