I’ve been getting frequent UTIs every couple of months and I don’t wanna keep taking antibiotics, but I have no choice. I’ve tried cranberry supplements and Dmannose to no avail.
I am very careful with my personal hygenine but to no avail. I take all my vitamins including vitamin C.
im so frustrated!
thanks

Well, you have tried everything that I have. For me D-mannose was the godsend. It isn't working for you, so that's that.

You are down now to seeing a urologist and having to make the best decision you can with medical team advice. It used to be commonplace for people to go on prophylactic antibiotics once a day; that is much less commonly done now that we understand that ALL of our bacteria is becoming very resistant to treatment by drugs.

Can you tell us what specific bacteria you are testing positive for typically?
Have you tried the vaginal creams that have minimum amounts of hormone in them that can plump up the urethra tissues that are lost after menopause? This works for many?
Again, consult a good specialist and I wish you the best. You already tried my tricks.

A compromised immune system can result in frequent UTIs. So if you have an immune/autoimmune system disorder like Lupus or even being diabetic, you're more prone to them.

Take a daily probiotic.

Drink a lot of water daily, 3 liters is optimal, but at least 1.

Good luck to you.
