There’s a lady screaming a lot of the time in a care home next door at 1.30am and heard her again 6.45am, surprised nobody has been in to offer her any reassurance, care, involvement to try and calm her down.

She is probably having night terrors. I used to wake Mom up then tell her to go back to sleep. There is medication for it. The 6:45 sounds like when they start getting everyone up. Maybe she does not like being woken up.

There was a screamer in my mom's facility. She is finally beyond that stage, but it seemed to go on a long while. Mom takes her hearing aids out at night, so it probably never interrupted her sleep. The woman was unaware of what she was doing and it was just part of her dementia.

I would contact APS (Adult Protective Services) to check it out.
