She doesn't seem to understand how her accusation can hurt people and she never accept she forgot things even if you find the lost thing in her own belongings.

Especially she accuses dad of stealing her money/jewelry. The sad thing is that she had this experience in young age that her husband have hide her jewelry's.

God thanks, she looks healthy going to Pilates at least before Corona. In general she is moody, a bit forgetful, and her relationship with dad is just a hell, she looks depressed. Do you think this horrible hurtful accusation can be symptoms of disease?

Was your father the one who hid her jewelry in the past? If so, it could be a trust issue. Why would he ever take her jewelry and hide it? She’s paranoid that when she can’t find something, he hid it from her.

I can assure you that everyone loses things or forgets where we put them. If someone else finds it and makes us feel bad for losing it, I know I’d react with irritation at being made to feel stupid.

How does your father feel about the way he’s treated? Does he feel his relationship with your mother is “hell”? If so, he can take steps to end it. The only way to find out if your mother has dementia is to have her tested and evaluated by a doctor.
