Mom thinks she is fine and can take care of herself. Her doctors say she needs 24 hour care.
After a long fight, I got her into an assisted living facility. She thinks it’s temporary and called me to tell me to get her house ready, she is coming home. She doesn’t care about the virus. She asked me about her homes, her money all the time. Money is most important to her.
I sold her home to afford her care. My question is : Do I tell her? She will become irate and cause trouble at her facility, but I don’t know what I should answer her when she wants to come home. I don’t want her living with me either. She isn’t a nice person.
I feel so intimidated by her and don’t know how to lie to her.

Tell her that her dr. said she has to stay there for her safety and health.

It's probably not a good idea to tell her about selling her home/s, and what you're doing to afford her care; she may get more upset and likely won't understand and forget as well.  Just keep letting her know her money's safe, and paying for her care there, then change the subject.  Practice distraction, changing the subject whenever she starts down those roads involving coming home and money.  Try to help her get real comfortable with her fave things, food, people, the great 24 hour help she's got there, and activities where she lives now.
