I have other employment, but I need both incomes.

Why is a client living with you? You need to ask your agency. But I would say no. You are not doing the job, the client is in the hospital being cared for. Its like anyother job, you don't work, you don't get paid. Do you have PTO and vacation time with the agency? You may need to use that. Do pay into ur State unemployment? If so, you may be able to get paid thru them.

This should be covered in a contract.
I think there are limits in a Facility as to how long they can hold a bed for a resident that is in the hospital, (Medicare is not going to pay for both)

I am very curious why you would ask us this, and not your agency. I think your agency will be much more likely than us to have the correct answer to your question.

Check the contract you signed with the agency.
