Sometimes, some legal documents can be WITNESSED, by 2 non family members..
I think I did that instead of notarizing some papers.

Thats why I say : do get the Living trust, HIPPA. POA's more tha one. Lady rights.
Cremation or burial, do you care
furecot of health, etc.

hope it's not a legal document thst needs to be notorized.

this happened with me too... his mind was ok a few months ago; and then BAM! his cancer aka HELL took over.. I was the enemy. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS ASKED IF THEY WERE THE FBI.
He wanted me arrested.
Our living trust was done in the nick of time. He never wanted to do do thst for some odd reason..
2 weeks later, his cancer just hit and it hit hard. Notary who helped us with the trust, legally said he is incompetent now.and she was unable to notarize him. She had me leave them room, she sat and tried reasoning with him. She's a really good notary.. I agreed with her.

So, if SO has a moment of clarity, get all the legal papers done ASAP

as you noticed it can change in an instant.

your window of opportunity may have past..

di not press too long or hard, that door could be slammed shut, and then husband will be asking for the FBI! SO will think You Are Enemy # 1. 😕

IN AN INSTANT...

What's your question? You put your post under Alzheimer's & Dementia, so his confusion about what to write is sadly quite "normal" for someone with a broken brain.
