Find Care & Housing
In a word: Yes, I've been through this. But my father had a catheter and so there was very clearly a problem when I could see that no fluid went into the bag. I don't mean to sound like I'm doubting your experience, but how do you know for sure there is no urine output? Do they wear absorbent briefs, and they are dry..?

Any which way, it's a serious problem and I would suggest you take them to ER, just to be safe. Not passing urine can be indicative of serious problems, as you already know.
