my mother-in-law gets mixed up on what day it is and the date. Is there a device that she could put by her chair or in the kitchen so she could look at it and know what day it is?

Thank you for the above suggestions about my question regarding a device to tell someone what day it is, etc. My husband found just what we were looking for at our Walmart. Thanks again. HelenEileen

Dementia patients do the strangest things. Mom loved the clock for a few days. Then she started unplugging her bedroom alarm clock and putting it on the counter next to it. Then she calls one of us and asks what day it is. In AL, I put it on top of the fridge so she can see it. It disappeared again. I found it in the bottom drawer. We're not sure why, but Mom seems to have to put everything in drawers and out of sight, knick knacks, clocks, dirty dishes, etc. Sigh..................dementia is awful.

CM The Alzheimer's Store carries several clocks that are useful for persons with dementia or confusion. They do ship internationally. They seem to have a lot of helpful products.

Bugger! Bugger! Bugger! Endofrope, that is THE most fantastically sensible and useful design I have yet seen - and it doesn't ship to the UK. Which in a way is a kind of consolation because I have just forked out over £100 for a wall clock which is good, but not that good. Bugger! And why do they have to be so *expensive*?

amazon/Memory-Digital-Calendar-Non-Abbreviated-Month/dp/B00L1XCBSO this is on Amazon. I bought one similar for my mom and she poo-pooed it at first, after the first day she said she had no idea they made something so helpful.

Check in places like K-mart, Walmart, Kohls etc. They have atomic clocks that show the time and date and day in large letters & numbers. Most of them were wall clocks so my husband made a wood stand for Mom so she could put it on her table.
