Since removing mom from care facility, we installed baby camera monitors with audio/visual devices for me should I be doing laundry, etc. Problem: either I'm a sound sleeper OR mom's voice is just to soft or her "tone" doesn't wake me. Anyone have a recommendation for a Caregiver, push button style? She has dementia. She has quit eating but continues to drink the shakes, medipass and milk. She doesn't talk a whole lot. This is her 3rd night, my second fail to wake and my sister had same issue last night. I see they make them but a review/recommendation from one of you would be awesome

Both are great ideas. But must say, a cheap door bell is imgenius. Never knew they made wireless and im sure a local hardware store has them.

A simple solution would be a wireless doorbell, she keeps the button and you keep the bell. The cheaper they are the louder and more annoying the bell/buzzer.

Are you familiar with the lighted and vibrating pagers restaurants give their guests to let them know when their table is ready? That's what these people do -- on-site paging with the touch of a button. Give them a call on Monday. They might have just the ticket.
