I want to send meals to my aunt to keep her from cooking. If not Hello Fresh, any other meal delivery for seniors? Thank you.

Some people like Mom's Meals, and they do offer meals for various diets including low sodium and pureed. https://www.momsmeals.com/

I have seen ads for Tovala on TV.
Apparently with the oven all you have to do is scan the bar code on the recipe card that comes with the meal.
that might be an option

My daughter did Hello Fresh during the pandemic. She liked the food but she said it is basically recipe cards and food items. The consumer has to do all of the prep and cooking.

Look for an easier option. Perhaps even selecting prepared frozen meals that can simply be popped into the microwave or oven.

Hello Fresh sends semi-rotted produce to make so-so meals. You still have to cook, too. We had it for two weeks and cancelled.

Consider signing her up for Meals on Wheels.

Hello Fresh is too much work. There’s a food delivery company under the Martha Stewart brand (I think) that delivers already cooked frozen food. Just heat it.

Martha Stewart/Marley Spoon (the name of the company) is like Hello Fresh with ingredients and recipe cards. They do offer a few premade meals which are OK, but very few. It's also more expensive than Hello Fresh.

The bad thing about frozen dinners at the grocery store, they have a lot of salt. Salt ups blood pressure. It also effects the kidneys.

Meals on wheels is a problem because it caters to the majority. Which means probably no salt in preparation. Aunt may have to spice up the meals a little. When I worked, a client of ours threw her meals away. The Nurse told her if she wasn't going to eat them, then cancel M on W. They usually can handle only a certain # of people and the food she was throwing out, someone else may appreciate.

There are some that are low sodium. You’re right about sodium levels being high on some of them. It’s so important to read food labels.

I have high blood pressure and I cannot eat a lot of salt. I am extremely sensitive to sodium. My blood pressure spikes horribly if I consume too much sodium

Hello Fresh will not keep your aunt from cooking. Hello Fresh and other meal kit companies provide ingredients and a recipe card. They still require a certain amount of preparation (chopping, measuring and mixing) as well as cooking. Prep and cooking time ranges from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the meal. There are also meal delivery services that provide "heat and eat" meals similar to the frozen dinners you can buy at the supermarket that only require putting them in a microwave. Depending on where she lives, there may also be services that deliver meals ready to eat. Costs will increase for each alternative. You will need to decide what you need and look for what is available.
