Seniors Helping Seniors in-home care services are now available throughout the greater Lexington area, including Madison and Jessamine counties. Seniors Helping Seniors in-home-care service fosters relationships between seniors seeking employment and seniors who require assistance with daily non-medical personal needs and household tasks and chores to continue living in their own homes.
Lynn Phillips, Franchise Owner
Through her work with veteran services, Lynn Phillips frequently witnessed senior citizens in need of care services and companionship that often went unmet or unnoticed. Before opening her franchise, she personally saw the positive return that in-home care services can bring to a senior’s life, through her involvement with “Love on A Leash,” a national therapy dog organization.
Her work with veterans has given her a strong desire to provide area seniors with those services that are lacking in the Lexington area, while at the same time giving other able seniors purposeful activity by working as providers.
“The unique model of matching senior caregivers to those who need assistance sets the business apart,” said Phillips. “We want to make sure our seniors feel respected and valued; and this model enables us to make sure we are providing a quality relationship to all parties.”
