We do not permit our Advisors to have an ownership interest in Participating Communities.
II. How We Are Paid. We do not charge you any fee – we are paid by the Participating Communities. Some Participating Communities pay us a percentage of the first month's standard rate for the rent and care services you select. We invoice these fees after the senior moves in.
III. When We Tour. APFM tours certain Participating Communities in Washington (typically more in metropolitan areas than in rural areas.) During the 12 month period prior to December 31, 2017, we toured 86.2% of Participating Communities with capacity for 20 or more residents.

Hi All, The search issue was a larger one than we had anticipated. I'm happy to report that a new tool has been developed and is being launched today. Hopefully, it will restore our ability to easily navigate around the forum and site. I am not part of the tech team, but can report that I heard the word "indexing" a lot... As in, after the tool is launched today, it may take a while to "index" every piece of AgingCare content. Thanks to all of you, there are a lot of questions, answers, and comments to sort through. Change is hard for all of us to accept, so we'd love your (gentle) feedback here through the process ;-) . Thanks again for your patience, Kim
If you follow Cwillie' s advice, and know the wording of the thread or question you want, DO THIS: Internet search, https:/www. a g I n g c a r e . c o m /m y f a v o r I t e t h I n g s
Yes, search does not work. The topics listed by most recent also doesn't seem to work. I know there are topics that have more recent activity than the ones I'm shown. Some of them on are quite old. Search and listing by recent activity not working makes it hard to keep up on active topics.
Still not working. If any of you have a need to search the site I have had some success using google, I just typed in my key words including agingcare and voila!
I noticed issues on Ancestry.com this afternoon. The software was having a mind of its own. Can software get the flu??? Full moon??? Winter blizzards???
Hi all, Thanks for your attention to this matter. We are truly sorry there is a problem with search today, and are doing what we can on our side to fix the problem. Our search is powered by Google, so the fix is not entirely within our control. We understand that it limits your ability to participate fully in the site-and for that reason by no means is this an intentional change! Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Aging Care admins! Hey there, hoping you can fix this. Navigating the website easily would be a priority for me. Hoping that this is not an intentional change.
Thank you for the forum, it makes a difference in my life.
Same here. THe first search I did I just assumed there were no results. But after seeing your question I typed in something I knew would have hits, and nothing. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Uh?
I heard "new tool." I heard "change." Whimper! I'm so afraid now...

Oh well, just another annoyance with the site, I'm still POed that my news feed font is smaller than the rest of the site.
If any of you have a need to search the site I have had some success using google, I just typed in my key words including agingcare and voila!
Thank you for bringing this issue up, making it easier to report and share.
These things happen. I could not get my Google mail for a week. The issues are universal.
Hope you are able to fix it.

I could not find " My favorite things " thread this morning.
The articles below in the blue section at the bottom of the page still work, so that's good.
